Progress on Angels and Demons...

Just wondered how everyone's making out with the book? I know two of you are finished and it sounded like you both thought it was a good read. I'm on page 30 or so. I've been writing things on post-it-notes and sticking it on the pages whenever I think of something. I'm really looking forward to discussing it. I think the movie's out (for Da Vinci) in just a week or two.

Do any of you think you'll have time to read Da Vinci too for the 31st?

Suggestions for Club Name

I have two suggestions to add to the list. The first is already taken, but I think it would be so appropriate:

DNTO (Definitely Not the Opera)

It is my belief that our bookclub discussion reflects the vibe of CBC radio's ultra cool show, with it's ecclectic mix of interview guests and thought-provoking focus spots on quirky cultural phenomenons. Additionally, there is the added irony of there being a fair percentage of opera singers in our midst and yet...

It's confirmed - Gerry and I will be hosting the May 31 meeting of "Book Club". Seriously, has anyone come up with a more interesting name? Our apartment is downtown at Princess and Maitland. I'll email directions closer to the date rather than post them. Looking forward to it!
