Gerrolyn will host May 31
It's confirmed - Gerry and I will be hosting the May 31 meeting of "Book Club". Seriously, has anyone come up with a more interesting name? Our apartment is downtown at Princess and Maitland. I'll email directions closer to the date rather than post them. Looking forward to it!

Joyce and I were talking and we think it would be sooo much fun if we tried to tie in a food theme with our novels. For example, Angels & Demons could have an Italian theme, or a religious theme to the food choices. We don't want anyone to go overboard, but we were thinking it would be a lot of fun! Thoughts?
I don't know about everyone, and maybe this will just make it too complicated, but what about if we did the theme, (which I think sounds like a lot of fun!) but divided up the food a little bit more? I'm just thinking that with so many of us in the club, that someone could be in charge of food one month and the other person wine that month, or perhaps snacky stuff and the other person dessert/sweets. That way it wouldn't all be on the person having it at their house, which is a generous enough thing I think, what with the clean up etc. I mean, I wouldn't mind bringing wine or dessert to each of the club meetings, since I won't be having any of the meetings at my place. And the host could just provide the bowls/dishes and the location. It would help spread out the cost and the time involved, since we all have to work too. What do you all think, or are you happy with the way we have it, with the host/hostess doing everything?
