The Time Traveler's Wife Event
The Great Canadian Superstore hosts a Dinner and Bookclub event every couple of months and February's book is The Time Traveler's Wife.
Rachel and I were chatting about the possibility of attending this event as club. It might be a bit pricy, but I thought I'd post the info and find out what everyone thinks. Here are the details from the GCS brochure:
Date: Tuesday, February 13, 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Join cooking school coordinator Chef Christine Scheer and Teacher/Librarian Sue Hudson for a lively evening of cooking and conversation as we not only discuss selected novels, but cook up our version of what the characters eat in the novels.

Hey all,
I probably won't go to this, as there's no way I'll have the book read by then, as I'm working on Wicked. I'd rather read the book first, before going to a discussion. Too bad we didn't have our picks switched or something. Oh well.
